Here’s what’s happening now:

It’s August in July!!!

Rose of Sharons, Coneflowers and Sunflowers are blooming.   Everything is ahead of schedule this year and we wonder what August will bring.    The vegetable crops are looking great.   We anxiously await tomato season; so far no sign of late blight!   The bees are busy, the catbird still sings, and the lightning bugs light up at dusk.   Soon we’ll hear the katydids.
